I'm not saying they didn't and I didn't even begin to imply that big girls had issues with the marketing. I'm saying that VS is purposely changing their target customer as they necessarily much change their physical footprint. They are more purposely stepping away from being an aspiration brand.

Or it's in response to the new trend in underwear. TRUE can charge $50 a pair. Lets face it, a lot of VS stuff was uncomfortable. I think their business model was dated and they are trying to save themselves.

I'm gonna assume you're talking about lacey lingerie type stuff, but that was only a small fraction of the merchandise and not what sold the most. The every day stuff has been comfortable enough for my wife and plenty durable, and most could be had around $7-$10 a pair depending on the line.
If their goal is to move upmarket, I'm not sure how this will help achieve that goal.
