Let's look at the facts.

The majority of people getting abortions are those of lower income. The instances of middle class or higher people getting abortions is lower due to having resources. Also, these people usually have the ability to travel to a state that would permit the operation, thus making the state law "a hurdle" at best.

Now that we know who the real target audience is, let's look at behavior. The lower income families will most likely compound on social benefits.

Now, is the right thing? No.

Is this what will actually happen? Most likely.

TLDR Conservatives fail to address truth about the human condition. Using bans as a way to dictate behavior doesnt actually get rid of the behavior. It just creates another problem.

Yeah, I'd love for people to take personal responsibility. That's what most of the working poor does in the US right now (whether they have children or not). I just know that it wont work that way.

There are a lot of things that I don’t agree with. But unlike the Muslims, which you so eagerly defend, we conservative Christians do not want violence. It is murder, but I’m not doing it. When a person here in America commits murder, the citizens don’t take the law into their hands, we have government entities (police) that handle these matters. Is this a new concept to you?
