That is a damn lie. There may be some (damn few) that are that way, but to a person every single pro-life person I know is also the first to give to the needy, the first to step up and adopt, the one volunteering at shelter, women's homes, everything you can imagine.

The pro-life warriors I know are the same ones visiting the sick, clothing the "naked", visiting the imprisoned, and putting shoes on the feet of those without.

You make it sound like the only women who get abortions are 16 and poor as hell...

They're not. Just letting you know.

Brilliant judicial insight there.

You can determine this without any judicial insight. This is the Roberts Court and he is not going to touch this. Case closed.

I suspect it makes it up to the Supremes and, no, they will not strike down Roe but may "modify" the prior ruling.

This is true, but that's not issue.

The issue is that pro-lifers cant have their cake and eat it too. I'm pro-life too, but I'm also a realist. More children (particularly in the lowest classes) will inevitably lead to more welfare because our politicians (both sides) will never fix the corruption.

It will be a burden on taxpayers, and banning abortion wont automatically make people good parents.

If Roe v Wade is overturned, I'm prepared to deal with the higher state tax burden. It is what it is. And ironically conservatives will be outnumbered in their own states because of this.

I do find it interesting that republicans have no problems with insurance companies paying for erectile dysfunction medications yet want to refuse birth control.

Ok for guys to have coverage to have see but women can’t have coverage to prevent pregnancy.

False.

Erectile dysfunction is a medical condition, not a choice.

The act of having sex is a choice, not a medical condition.

Drugs and treatments for the female equivalents of ED are covered under insurance, as they are also medical conditions. Your argument is invalid.

Let’s take it a step forward. Is it ideologically inconsistent for me to oppose the murder of all children who are poor, while also opposing govt-provided welfare and social assistance?

Not ideologically inconsistent. But ideologically unrealistic. No charity system will ever encompass the size of our working poor, elderly, and poor kids. This has multiple reasons.

I understand that you want people to work for a living. So do I. But your not taking into consideration that the working poor vastly outnumber the lazy ones in the US.

A free market society and unregulated capitalism is what most of you want and that's fine. But it does have its consequences, one of which is economic equalities. You have to take the good with the bad.

Even in fields with good ROI, you only have a limited amount of jobs available at any given cycle.

Your stupid statement:
quote:

You don’t want to save any lives, or else you and more than half the country would be locked and loaded and ready for war.

Now I have to explain what you yourself said...
you made the outrageous correlation that half of the countries’ gun ownership somehow means that we have no care for life. Which is incredibly stupid. So I said:

quote:

So now having guns and ammo is equivalent to killing?

Which you then said:

Usually I would continue to try and debate, but we are so different that I don’t feel as though there is any chance I will be able to have a legitimate conversation with you. Best of luck with your life, and be glad your mom didn’t “choose” to exterminate the inconvenience that you were perceived to be at the time.

I mean, Roe v Wade has lived longer than Hitler did and has “killed” almost 10x as many people as Hitler, so yeah, you’d think that these baws would do more than post on message boards about it.

Good, acceptance is the first step.

After the point at which it is known that another being is in you, then you can’t abort it without inadvertently committing murder.

No I didn't. That's an insanely stupid interpretation of what I said.

According to you, people are killing millions of babies per year. You don't really believe that, which is why all you're doing is message board virtue signaling about it.

You don’t get to tell other people what they think. Good try, sparky.

is a valid point and shows the inconsistency of the right.

No abortion but cut welfare and other child services too.

No it actually shows the consistency of the right. Conservative want otherwise healthy adults to be responsible for themselves and the consequences of sexy. Nothing inconsistent about it.

Unlike you who obviously want the government to be responsible for everyone and everything. frick you and your type. Be an adult, get an education, get a job and sustain yourself and your offspring.

You gonna be on the front lines? There's 60million dead, and all you've done so far is message board about it, making you complicit in these murders unless you do something to stop it.

I mean, according to you, these are all murders. Why are you sitting here on a message board then?

(That isn't a rhetorical question. We all know the answer, and that answer is: you don't believe that abortion is murder, which is why you act as if abortion is less than murder.)
