I think it's about time that other countries step up in our stead and handle this. This affects the whole world.

I'll admit, it is a hard pill to swallow, but when it comes down to it, the US needs to worry about shite at home and not join any conflicts abroad for now.

He's saying it's a mistake because people are dumb. You're dumb, that's why you missed that part even though it's on your quote.

Oh and this entire thing is likely fake. We're talking about the guy who made up the fake "suckers and losers" quote.

What is your opinion on NATO members not spending on their militaries as agreed?

I thought we should leave NATO before thinking we should leave NATO was cool. But that’s irrelevant to the topic at hand. Literally has absolutely nothing to do with NATO in any sense.

But I guess you guys are cool with letting pirates and terrorists just threaten American shipping and sailors whenever they want. fricking pussies

They've attacked 5 US Navy vessels, and over 100 commercial ships with US connections. The Bab al-Mandab Strait is just 11mi across, and provides all southern access to and from the Suez Canal, and Mediterranean Sea. 12% of global sea trade passes through it. Houthi Red Sea attacks are causing the biggest disruption to global trade since the Covid-19 pandemic

Isn’t the “conflict abroad” our ships being attacked?

JD is wrong on this period. That is a major shipping lane and there have been 145 attacks on commercial shipping vessels to include U.S. commercial vessels and 174 attacks on U.S. Navy ships. It happened all through the Biden administration and they did basically nothing. These strikes should have happened years ago.

As a neocon bootlicker, you regularly display your own ignorance of the history of actual conservatism and likewise your utter incapacity to comprehend of the principles of limited governance. Opposing an interventionist foreign policy has a long and storied tradition in conservatism.

You would do well to familiarize yourself with Robert A. Taft. Senator Taft was a staunch conservative and a champion of a non-interventionist foreign policy and led the Republican opposition to the aggressive military intervention strategies that increasingly were gaining a foothold in the Potomac Beltway in the post WWII era.

Houthis recently fired 18 missiles at an aircraft carrier. They fricked around and need to find out, what kind of deterrence does the US have if we let a bunch of desert people shoot at us and shut down one of the busiest maritime trade routes?

Yep. Sounds like a clear message needs to be sent.

I know Reagan had the good sense to extract our troops from that hellhole after the senseless slaughter of over 200 U.S. Marines.

Yes. Yes he did. And rightly so. And Trump likewise criticized Biden’s bombing strategy in Yemen. Which Trump now seems to emulate.

I don’t think so.

You have failed in two threads trying to promote this.

In your other thread you used just the truth post out of context.

He’s saying Biden fricked up the Middle East so here we are bombing again.

And if you read the leaked message thread, Trump wants to send a message we aren’t fricking around anymore.

Wouldn’t have to without Biden’s frick up.

You can’t take one post and treat it as the entire conversation on the topic.

And Trump doesn’t need congressional approval to attack people attacking us.

That would be stupid if all presidents had to wait for congress to attack people attacking us.

If someone started lobbing bombs at NY I guess we’d have to wait for congress to get together before we could do anything.
