I’m skeptical.
If the response to Kirk’s death would not have been as big then Van Jones doesn’t “reveal” this,
Within a day or two of the assassination there were at least two commentators on the right who had talked about this message to Van Jones. One was Shapiro and I can’t recall who the other one was. Maybe Megyn Kelly. Either way I wondered why in the hell isn’t Van Jones bringing this up instead of pundits on the right?
This would’ve been a hell of a lot better for public discourse if Jones disclosed this earlier. The longer it took for him to address it makes it look like he’s trying to capitalize on the sentiment of many who were fans of or at least respected Charlie Kirk.

Every time msm rhetoric leads to something bad, they come out and preach unity and peace. Then once the backlash dies down and goes away, they start the rhetoric back up and keep it going until one of their other brainwashed peons does something again.
Their rhetoric led to the assassination of Charlie Kirk. A guy who did preach peace and free speech. I'm sure Kirk sent messages to every a-hole in the msm because he was a guy who loved debating and hearing every side.
It's been over a week now.. and the outrage is still going strong. They can't sweep it under the rug like they did the assassination attempts on trump and the Covington shooting. So it wouldn't surprise me if some of the higher ups in the network opted to get van jones to release the message Kirk sent. Maybe other on air personalities will come out and release their own messages from Kirk.
The end goal is to use Kirk's words against Kirk's followers. It's evil. Considering how their rhetoric is what led to Kirk being killed.

watch how long it takes for him to revert back to a liberal frick head, so he found an ounce of humanity, good for him, he's a fricking liberal hack and always will be, he wishes he was half the man Kirk was.

Van gets paid to be a leftist but you can tell at heart he is not one. Not condoning this, but I guarantee you VJ is at worst a Bill Clinton Dem

Jones has walked the (Marxist) Morality Politics fence for a while, but the days of fence walking are over. His racist based psychology overrides any real compromise, as any white person who believes and argues against condescending racial policy which lowers academic, cultural and fair competition, merit-based economic standards for Blacks, is racist and perniciously destructive on it face. Even when said policy utterly destroys many Black families and communities, and undermines the very functionality and
moral credibility of our merit based System in the minds of simple minded people. He and Obama have poisoned the well with their UNQUALIFIED lowered standards, reparations and entitlement minded bs which has racialized politics to the point of dysfunction. Kirk’s assassination as a prime example of where things go forward. Jones owns it and his conscience bears witness to where we are and where it goes from here. He’s scared, and should be.
If Jones were honest he’d invite Thomas Sowell to a public dialogue for Blacks to hear. Sowell is the ‘Charlie Kirk’ of the Black community. But he won’t because his ego won’t let him, so he’ll continue the ‘half truth’ song and dance. As the walls crumble around him and all of us.
Live and learn.

That's because just a few days before the murder, Van Jones called Charlie Kirk a racist for his views. I would've loved to see that debate between Van Jones and Charlie...uh, let's see, who would've looked like an idiot?

Making Van Jones look like an idiot isn't a grand feat. He does that regularly all on his own.

Yep, I will have to remember to use that term "my team" when asked did I get the message.
Either he has the largest ego known to man or a tweet from Charlie Kirk did not matter.
There is no way I will ever believe that clown did not see or hear of that tweet when it occurred from Charlie Kirk, one of the most influential men in the world. It has taken him this long to figure out a way to save face.
I do appreciate him FINALLY letting the world know what a good man did for him, who is a total POS!! Could it be because he and his "team" decided Jones really has no other response to offer.

He acted like a man there. I don’t like van. But he wasn’t forced to admit that. He gets credit for that from me.
He only hid it for 10 days.
