Anyone remember articles like this during the AIDS outbreak?

Progs have decriminalized the knowing transmission of it recently.

all this bullshite fatigue and hero worship.

You know who actually needs that misplaced worship? The actual janitors and staff that clean up and sanitize everything before and after all of these poor pitiful doctors and nurses. Those people put up with literal shite but you don't see them complaining or spouting stupid, ignorance bigotry about who they will or won't clean up after.

I think it's important for anti-vaxxers to be consistent in their practices. If Covid isn't a big deal and the vaccines are suspect, there should be no need to seek medical attention from a hospital if they get Covid complications.

They say every day on here that there is no risk and it's not even as bad as a cold. Hell, some of them claim it doesn't even exist.

Seems hypocritical that any of them would ever ask to be treated for it.

Gotta love those sweeping generalizations about people to justify your particular world view. Never gets old

Hopefully you feel the same about fat people and their many easily preventable health issues. Could’ve been prevented, therefor no compassion or treatment is deserved.

After the horrors that health-care workers have endured during the pandemic, many are struggling to sympathize with people who won’t protect themselves.

So, let's apply this statement to smokers, the obese, diabetics whose diet is completely ridiculous and don't stick to their insulin.

Do they also have a lack of sympathy for them? if so they suck at their job and need a new profession.

Folks who overdose should not get emergency room privilege.
Folks who smoke should not be treated for lung cancer.
Alcoholics should not get liver transplants.
Homos should not get AIDS treatment
The list goes on and on.

You left out a few:

Gang members and others who hang out on street corners overnight should not be treated for gunshot wounds.

People who resist lawful arrest should not be treated for their wounds.

Women who get knocked up should not be entitled to abortions.

“Healthcare for everyone! Except you! You don’t agree with me!”

I don’t know about others, but the more that comes out about the vaccine, and it’s failures, the less inclined I am to get it. Maybe I won’t be able to go to lunch in New Orleans any longer. Oh, well. Frick that hell hole.

In a thread where you lump all medical professionals together for an opinion that is no where close to the majority? How many times do you plan on contradicting yourself in this thread?

You mean the thread where it is particularly pointed out that certain med pros are assholes as the premise behind the thread because they are so stressed they want to refuse medical care? That thread? This thread. Ok.

We came to that bridge like 20 years ago.

You are blinded by emotion. A preventable death is a preventable death.

I'm sorry obesity isn't on your list of "hip" or "cool" ways to die right now.

The generalization started with Medical Pros wanting to wholesale stop treatment of people. Just following suit. Call it what you will.

Is anyone else kind of sick of seeing health-care workers whine about how bad they have it? Like this was always a possibility when you signed up to do that job.

I'll call it funny since you either don't or choose not to see your hypocrisy in this thread.

Same as some Natl Guard members when shite popped off at 9/11. Yeah, it's some nice tuition and other benefits but didja miss the fine print about being called up if they feel like calling you up? Nothing is for free but they thought it was.
