Thats what happened. Whether it was by design or not we likely will never know, but thats exactly what they did.

For an hour.

As shots rang out down the hall.

And children screamed and cried.

They had to wait for ballistic shields.

The "chief" resources officer. Who has not ever even been a real cop. He is a former 911 dispatcher and a current Democrat city councilman. You've got several federal agents taking orders from a man who isn't even a cop.

Monumental failure all around. First protocol for any active shooter situation, especially in a school, is to get to the shooter as fast as possible and take him out. If they were hearing gunshots from that room, absolutely no reason to enter and start shooting.

Wait til more photos are leaked.

They’ll show the cops and Feds still standing there with dozens of shields lined up against the wall.

Strip them of duty and all retirement goes to deceased kids family.

And prosecute them for criminal negligence.

Lots of new info from the surveillance footage in this Tribune LINK

First, the video shows the shooter entered room 111 first, the timeline we’ve been given all along is that he first entered room 112. He also goes back into the hallway and then back into the classroom. Initial reports were that the two female teachers in room 112 were shot first, the video appears to contradict that as the gunman entered room 111 first and started firing there. There were no children who survived in room 111, all 11 children in that class died. The male teacher was shot and incapacitated but he survived.

Also Ruben Ruiz, the Uvalde school police officer who also the husband of one of the slain teachers, was at one point in the hallway outside her classroom. He was telling other officers he had spoken to her and she told him she was shot.

not to mention, once the police are gone, there’s nothing protecting BLM from….us

Thanks for sharing.

It is absolutely outrageous that they didn't get in there. The doors weren't even fricking locked. I have a hard time believing any of the cops actually had family in there.

Supposedly one of the officers in the hallway had a daughter in the classroom.
quote:

The officers in the hallway of Robb Elementary wanted to get inside classrooms 111 and 112 — immediately. One officer’s daughter was inside. Another officer had gotten a call from his wife, a teacher, who told him she was bleeding to death.

I just don’t see how that could be true that a father would stand in that hallway for over an hour and not go in to get his child. The video would show a man having a psychotic break in that hallway if he was just standing down while his kid was inside being murdered.

100%. He would have been trying to throw his body through the door if he had no other way in. And apparently the doors weren't locked.

YouTube LINK to the first Uvalde CISD school board meeting since the shooting.

Several parents spoke, as well as the daughter of Irma & Jose Garcia. Brutal.

That is a pretty powerful video. Everyone who spoke addressed the things the politicians and media avoid. Accountability for the police department, accountability for the school administration.

Not one of the 8 speakers mentioned "gun control". They spoke of proper defense of the schools and grounds, law enforcement willing to lay themselves on the line to protect children, prepared and trained teachers, armed teachers, prayer in school.

That other article you linked a few posts above gives the best timeline I have seen. From the known information it sounds like the CISD Police Chief Arredondo is the primary reason there was no breach until the Border Patrol showed up. Total failure of leadership.

My level of rage at this situation depends on /\ this /\ moderated by how many, how often.

I'm pretty pissed in the best of situations.

C'mon Redneck Rambo, what do you need all those "crazy guns" for anyways. Just give them up, the state has guns and they will protect you.

You've summed up my initial evaluation precisely.

There is much accountability to be determined in this tragedy.

It was never about abolishing "all police". It was always about abolishing "local police" and federalizing everything. You think local guys are cowards, wait until it's a bunch of heartless feds not even from your community assigned to protect you and your family.
