Which I don’t understand how one appeals circuit can overrule another.

Similar suits were filed across multiple districts. The 5th was the only one that had issued a stay.

All of the cases were consolidated and randomly assigned to the 6th which is largely conservative.

Because we had cases across multiple districts but a stay in only the 5th, they looked at it again and by a 2-1 vote removed the stay.

6th Circuit.

So they can take their time now. The burden isn't on the justices because of the 6th.

Meanwhile, good people are losing their jobs. These worthless cocksuckers all suck.

I get your point and agree but how much time can we afford until then?
You think Obama installed a Deep State? Dems are putting the pedal to the metal right now. Polls are literally crashing but you don't see them changing course one iota.

I've got a religious exemption letter from my church queued up in case the SCOTUS doesn't do the right thing.

Mask mandate started at my work today. I’d say 60/40 vaccinated. Even if you are by yourself in the building unless you are in a floor to ceiling office you have to wear the mask. Pure bull$hit when I’m working by myself in a warehouse most all day. Multiple people called off today and one was sent home for non-compliance.

When it all started it was wear masks within 6’ now this OSHA BS Is wear it if you are in the building. I think the USSC is going to drag their feet and eventually stay, but after another few million are vaxxed….

Luckily, my company has taken a wait and see approach.

My company denied my Religious Exemption

On what grounds?

They claim that I did not provide sufficient evidence that I hold sincerely held religious beliefs. This is due to me not participating in their 20 question interrogation that came a month after I submitted my RE. They wanted to know my medical history and every medicine I've ever taken, with an explanation of how it didn't contradict my views on stem cells. I answered every question:

"I invoke my right to an religious exemption due to my sincerely held religious beliefs which have already been established".

I can't get over how ANYONE is still pretending mask mandates accomplish ANYTHING.

You had to know what type of response that would illicit.

Unfortunately you are probably going to have to be able to answer that question if your employer is sticking to their guns on asking it.

Wouldn't mind reading a dedicated thread on how you went about it, and if you think you could have done anything different to change the outcome.

Sucks for you, but might help others.

My company denied my Religious Exemption, and snarkily refused an appeal on the issue. That slimey HR POS was enjoying himself in our conversation too, and he tried to condescend my beliefs. I'm currently on unpaid leave waiting for the SCOTUS decision, which hopefully comes in my favor. Stand up for what you believe in people!!!

So, what are you going to do?

If the SCOTUS does their job and strikes it down, then I don't have to get a shot, which I've confirmed with HR. If the SCOTUS screws us, then all corporations are going to quickly jump on this bandwagon and we're all doomed. I'll be forced to comply with this tyranny so I can keep a paycheck rolling, as anywhere else I go will require the same thing. Unless y'all have a better idea, as I do not want that clot shot!

Legally , you do not have to request an RE, it's your right to invoke. Them asking those questions, displays how subjective sincerity is, and the HR "Gods" do not get to decide this sincerity. I can lawyer up and sue - but if the SCOTUS doesn't go my way, I don't have much of a case, and it's not going to be cheap to go after a massive corporation. However, I may need to make a point, as the VP of HR condescending my beliefs and refusing my RE is blatant discrimination.

I agree with you. Sad state of affairs in many a corporation these days. I hope that SCOTUS does the right thing on the OSHA mandate.

Your company is not a federal contractor is it? If it is, SCOTUS's OSHA ruling may not really be a win for you if the federal contractor mandate is still effective.
