I disagree. The responses support that disagreement.

I would like for you to link one post you've made on this board where you made a declarative statement on a subject that you supported. A subject, not some douchey insult. Just something that says "i'm not a generic troll, i actually can substantively debate a subject and have opinions of my own".

You're "i already posted it before" shtick is so incredibly lame.

But if POTUS orders the Marines there then what can they do?

Privately call the Joint Chiefs and tell them this is a massive waste of resources. If he's really brave meet with Trump personally and express his concerns.

I wouldnt have gone public however, but thats assuming orders came through.

He wants his Marines to be the most effective expeditionary force they can be and being border guard does not help achieve that goal.

I agree that he thinks that as well. But I don’t think it would harm us as you think it would.

Well, it looks like General Neller has a choice. He can obey the orders of his duly elected Commander-in-Chief, or he can submit his resignation. It’s really that simple.

Needs to be relieved of duty immediately as he cant be trusted to carry out orders and discharge duties.

Yep. That's how I knew I was correct.

And what's wrong with eating crayons? You ever had a crayon?

The issue is, and will never change, is former active duty will never agree with you. You can jump up and down about your " rights" all you care to and the majority of former military is still going to tell you to stfu.
If you have never sacrificed and been part of the military then you have never earned the " right" to talk shite about it.

Former military can converse with each other and you non military would have no clue what we are talking about.

Former military is a family that you will never understand nor be part of. Kinda like I can smack talk my brother but you better not try.

Typical. So you're playing the "i was in the service" card now too? Without giving proof? Classic displaced.

You won't get anywhere by ignoring your fans.

Still, it'd be fun to watch you explain how my responses indicate that I care about anyone's beliefs.

well if the HNIC says so, they are.

They are not trained that way in any appreciable numbers. The HNIC should understand this. The Marines kill people, that's their job. Then the Army comes in and also kills people but they are also trained as an occupying force. Marines are not occupiers, they do their jobs that they were trained to and then move on.

they could be if justified

So you want them running around in the SW desert being Marines and kicking migrants asses....because kicking arse is what they do...mostly(and a lot of drinking)

you mean after the Air force carpet bombs the area?

They are complimentary in that regard.....they deliver the "personal touch"

Nah, I'm gonna shittalk traitors like John Mccain and figs like DisplacedCuckeye.

How many times do you have to be told: Your service does not absolve you of being wrong or doing wrong or having bad ideas.

I thank all for serving, but they're not saints.

I asked before and you never responded

But have you ever deployed?

Bc this would totally burn out the force that already goes on regular ship rotations and Middle East deployments. Not to mention they still need to be in garrison to train.

Management of your people is half the battle, any good NCO or officer will tell you that.

Don't bother, 225bred. He's a troll. He has no opinions on the matter, he's just trying to rile people up. If challenged on any one particular subject he'll remain vague so as not to be painted into a corner.

The officials think it's because the country overall is becoming more pacifist but the reality is that conservative men who in the past gave their lives for patriotism do NOT think it's patriotic to work for guys like this General.
