EXCLUSIVE and BREAKING: TRUMP ADMIN CLEANS HOUSE AT U.S. INTERNATIONAL AID AGENCY FOR FAILING TO FOLLOW TRUMP'S EXECUTIVE ORDERS
The Trump administration placed "a number" of @USAID officials (U.S. Agency of International Development) on administrative leave after suspecting that they are conspiring to circumvent President Trump's executive orders on the halting of federal aid funds to overseas programs and DEI initiatives, according to an agency-wide email (attached to this post).
"We've identified several actions within USAID that appear to be designed to circumvent the President's Executive Orders and the mandate from the American people," Jason Gray, the acting USAID administrator, said in the email. "As a result, we have decided to put a number of USAID employees on administrative leave with full pay and benefits until further notice while we complete our analysis of these actions."
I wrote about the corrupt practice at USAID during Trump's first term in office, in which top officials retaliated against Mark Moyar, a Trump appointee assigned to ferret out agency waste and abuse, by yanking his security clearance and pushing him out of the agency.
Moyar then wrote a book about it: Masters of Corruption: How the Federal Bureaucracy Sabotaged the Trump Presidency.

Yes, USAID and NGOs need to be gutted completely. They are filled with the very worst actors and act more like money launders than actual humanitarians. Their actions see fit to fill the coffers of Act Blue funneling money to the very opponents of Trump and MAGA while simultaneously hurting those they say they are helping. Evil people. Remove them all.

Their salaries are a lot cheaper than the color revolutions they cause.

That and the Senior Executive Service. Trump already signed an executive order to neuter them as well. This is a blitzkrieg. A careful thought out plan. It is happening too fast for them to counter. Brilliant military strategy.

Trump 2.0 learned all the tricks.

Why TF are our tax dollars going to this shite anyway? We didn't elect those commie bastards, and besides, that's another worthless "gov" office under the President's purview. I say close the whole damn thing down.

For those of us in BR this is what CAT's is in our capital city. The rough numbers: $35M budget. $27 M from local property taxes. $5M federal funds. $1.2M RIDER FEES, $0.5 M advertising revenue. $20 M in salaries and benefits.
This is just one very small example of how our tax money is wasted and services to the ones this money is intended to benefit are being woefully underserved.
I've maintained for years that Uber or Lyft could provide far superior service to the people needing this service vs CATS.
Does anybody know the ridership numbers for CATS?

You can’t get rid of income tax and keep giving away the treasure to foreign governments.

Employees are entitled to some sort of due process, even if just by internal policy. Once the investigations are complete, I expect them to be fired if there's evidence of wrongdoing. It's cheaper to pay their salaries for a few weeks than to pay out millions for wrongful termination.
