USAF, Navy, and USMC ground several models of jets over faulty ejection seats

Hundreds of jets grounded.
Task & Purpose link
While I’m all for picking on the Joint Strike Failure, the article is a bit deceptive (journalism, shocking right?) as the issue seems to be not the F-35 itself, but numerous models and hundreds of aircraft across several services.
So this seems to be a Martin-Baker problem, not just a Luckup issue.

The crown jewel of the Air Force fighter fleet has been sidelined for an indeterminate amount of time as the service inspects most of its F-35 fighter jet ejection seats for faulty launch cartridges, service officials said on Friday. The news marks the latest difficult headline for the beleaguered fighter, which U.S. military officials have placed at the forefront of their airpower strategy despite a long list of maintenance issues.

The Navy said in a statement on Tuesday that the cartridge problem affected aircraft in its and the Marine Corps’ F/A-18B/C/D Hornets, F/A-18E/F Super Hornets, E/A-18G Growlers, T-45 Goshawk and F-5 Tiger II training aircraft fleets, but the service did not share exact numbers due to operational security concerns.

We've known about this for 35 years.

Between this and the AF’s F-35’s, that’s pretty much everything but the AF’s F-16’s and F-22’s, and the Navy’s F-15’s. Assuming those other planes aren’t impacted as well.

If Maverick had been a better pilot Goose would still be alive today.

turns out if the ejection seat is deployed it will pinch a penis tucked between your arse cheeks. Needs to be corrected ASAP or none of our servicemen will be able to use it

First thing I think most of us were thinking.

The units would up them in a minute. Maintainer’s and pilots. Seen it first hand.
I like all the people hating on the military because of their stupidity actions lately, but when I say those who serve would do anything for you all. I mean it
Just because political appointed generals are dumbasses, and the trannys, they’d (Troops) would still die for you.
