God forbid we invest in things that matter- energy, the border, infrastructure, etc. I served, and proud of it, but damn, it’s one war after another.

Two totally different situations.
Who are your insurgents gonna be? Ukraine has lost a significant percentage of her population and is down to conscripting middle aged men. Ukraine doesn’t have a country full of men who are dedicated to a violent religion.

In the history of all thing DoD, when has this ever happened?
Also, if Army accountants can come up with these "Savings" why have they not been doing it before now?
Cut DoD funding by half immediately, then figure out what is really necessary...
