They most certainly are not meeting the target of 5% of GDP. Period.

There are no Argentinians on the Falklands despite being just a few miles from argentina.

But sure, sure, England did not ethnically cleanse the island in the 18th and 19th centuries.

Imagine a world where we stayed neutral or sided with Germany in WWII - really feels like the world would be a better place for us at the societal, cultural and global level. The UK has always been a false ally. Theres a reason Karl Marx is buried there

Besides the moral implications, the US became a hegemony because they led the charge to destroy the axis powers in WWII and rebuild Europe.

Their spending is shite.

They only have 6 Destroyers in their entire Navy.

A few months ago only 1 of those were operational.

We don't get shut out. The deal as it stands is more like the eye of Sauron and the four people who watch what it sees.

Wrong. The US became the world power because they were the only nation that wasn't utterly destroyed in the war. The US still had the means to dictate the outcome.

Whether the US sided with the Axis or the Allies is irrelevant.

Yep, we need to get back to throwing money at other countries and getting zip in return.

As a general rule, I agree Europe should pay more for their own defense.

But in the real world, with the trajectory we know European countries like England are on, should we really be encouraging them to start militarizing?

What “moral implications”? If you’re referring to the holocaust, I have very strong doubts you care about the homosexuals, gypsies and Russian POWs that were killed in the same camps that we have monuments for, for one other ‘special’, ‘chosen’ group of people.

Lest us not forget, based on the documentation WE (the US) seized in WW2, at least 25% of the wermacht was of Jewish ancestry. These were the Jews kicked out of their own Jewish enclaves because they were not Jewish enough. The ‘holocaust’ wasn’t against Jews, or Judaism, it was against Zionism. The same thing a significant amount of your countrymen are concerned about today.

Allies don’t intentionally mess you over year after year.

You are a weak, pathetic man to accept such a one sided relationship.

The UK has let their military goes to shite. They are basically counting on the U.S.

They have become leeches.

Given that you are a leftist, I can see where you would agree with them screwing over America.

The UK has ZERO reason to want/need western hemisphere influence; hence the Falklands. The UK is CLEARLY not our ally any longer. The London bankers are losing their grip on global geopolitical economics.

They will eventually lost their grip on Canada, and every other proxy state the Crown still tries to maintain while their country has been overrun by Muslims and other 3rd world degens.
