$750 million investment in its Gary Works operations. The company says the funds are part of a $2 billion asset revitalization effort that will take place over the next five years. Last year, U.S. Steel detailed plans that involved pumping $35 million into Gary Works, which followed the $23 million first phase of its Hot Strip Mill Restoration Plan.

They are, but this is only part of it.

90proof is going to be proven wrong. Again.

snuck into the hot strip mill once

all the strippers looked like dudes.

I went back to the melt shop.

Damn, nobody around here likes steel mill humor?

If I was going to spend 750 million dollars to improve Gary, Indiana I would start with a 700 million dollar nuke.

This will be a normal thing for the indefinite future. The last quarter of 2018 will be full of headlines like this.

well we can rest assured it won't be by you, as you prefer to avoid staking out actual positions.

but out of curiosity- on what, exactly?

Trump being a businessman, one of the things to help build private infrastructure was the write off of capital in one year. Big, big benefit.

A big reason companies will invest in the US versus foreign projects, oil patch is a perfect example.

Capital investment in the US was up bigly, huuuge in the first half of the year....in China it was at a multi year low.....sorry IB....but its working....Id hold off on those Mandarin lessons if I was you.
