So it wasn't going to pass anyway with or without the Republicans votes. Got it

In a Republican primary. How many Democrats and independent voters will choose this man in the general election? Polls conducted since the May runoff uniformly show him trailing James Talarico (not a particularly strong candidate) by 3 or more % points.

It's all about money and how much they can stuff in their accounts. 80% of these politicians are bought and paid for or have incriminating evidence against them. They don't care about you and they never will. It's a club when you get to that level and you are just a peasant.

So it’s actually not the nomination process as you said above.

Do you think people are as excited to support talarico and his very weird infatuation with having kids mutilate their genitals as you are? For open borders and the importation of 3rd world welfare cases?

I'd rather have Democrats in their seats at this point

Grassley & Warner didn’t bother to vote. A absent vote is the same as voting against passing the Save America Act. All 6 of these scumbags are traitors.

Grassley is loyal to a fault. He walks a fine line.

Ken Paxton who are prima facie unelectable.

Bitch, he just smoked an incubant that won 4 terms in Texas by 30 points. Paxton has won 9 elections for himself. But yes, Texans are going to vote for your weirdo talifreako.

Have they publicly said why they won’t vote for it?

Was thinking the same thing, where can I go to read the 50 dissenting opinions & the logic behind each one. This is an important vote that demands accountability

It's all about Congress.

It's up to the voters to get rid and make some changes.

This is a year in which voters are repelled by Trump and the Far Right Trump-favored candidates. I don't think Talarico is the ideal candidate, but it's who he's NOT which will forge a Democratic flip in November.

An 80/20 issue, but the scumbag Establishment hacks can't get it done.

Obtw, there were several of those 48 who voted for it who didn't want it to pass, either. They knew it wasn't going to pass, so they were free to vote for it.

It's also about demoralizing. That's been the play from the establishment. They want people to give up. And a lot will.

This was always going to take longer than Trump to fix. There is a deep rot that will hold on for dear life.
