Would any of these actually be government workers? Not likely many. Those would mostly be a known quantity during the regular reports last year. Illegals would make up a huge chunk of this, but even they would have been accounted for to some degree in the prior reports. This is absolutely going to include a ton of native born Americans in non governmental roles. To pretend otherwise is foolish.

I can't either! It's great that all those government jobs were eliminated and that some private sector jobs were vacated by illegal immigrants and are now open to be filled by legal immigrants and Americans.

See what I did there? I placed upon you the burden of disproving my claim. We can do that too. And this economy sure is roaring, considering we've apparently completely collapsed thanks to bLuMpF.

Job numbers are a political tool. Not once in my 45 years of working did I reference them to make a decision. All I know is I when democrats were in office and set policies, it always affected me negatively.

Doesn’t matter it counts.

Like a qb throwing an interception even if it wasn’t his fault.

Go suck a fat one bud.

We great yet?

What you posted has some relevance but also add in the jobs that are being replaced by AI and automation. The job numbers for white collar workers are going to take a kick in the nuts quickly. Followed by that will be blue collar workers that manufacture. I can attest to this as my industry is seeing it daily.

Some of us are yes

Losers like you are always gonna lose.

Too bad too. How you can lose in this country is beyond me, but losers like you continue to prove it’s possible.

It’s only his economy when there is good news. It’s his stock market, but not his job market.

He was even trying to take credit for the stock market going up during the Biden administration claiming that it was because polls showed him winning

Well we didn't have a net loss of jobs

But beyond the great recession and the pandemic you would have to go back to 2003 to find a worse year for jobs

It’s interesting that January saw almost as many jobs added as all of 2025.

How many illegals and government jobs?
Lost a good number of government jobs. But the main employment driver was Education and Healthcare -- both heavily subsidized by government spending.

Illegals shouldn't matter (in theory) because they'd presumably be replaced with other people?

Good thing tariffs created lots of new manufacturing jobs!

You will see this happen as the months progress. First slowly then rapidly.
