We now have tied the most SOTH votes since 1819!
McCarthy keeps piling up L’s like the Cubs opening season losing streak in 1987!

Pretty sure it’s a straight-up 50% +1 vote wins.
If I recall from last night’s vote, Republicans won (to adjourn) by 2 votes.
Many non-votes last night.

Pelosi must be extracting some essence to stay up all night

It’ll be interesting to see who hangs in there if they go all night.

Yeas are going to win to adjourn.

Reports: Republicans are sticking together on the adjournment vote.
Bishop (or maybe Biggs?) was the only “no” vote last night (if I remember correctly).
I’m sure that’s how it’ll go down tonight as well.

That was 1997 with 14 consecutive losses to start the season.
Thanks for reminding me

You can always count on the republicans to come together and agree when it's time to quit.

Looks like adjournment will happen.

Cowards voting to adjourn. They need to make Kevin stay all night until he quits.

I don’t post much on the PoliBoard but this is so hilarious I am laughing so hard.

Sure is. In other countries the politicians step down when they have no support. Hey KM time to step down and allow real leader to emerge

This x 100000
The UK has had four Prime Minister’s step down in the last 6 years because they did not have the voting support of their party. That is called honor and pragmatism. McCarthy has no honor.

Out of everything that goes on in Congress, I think it’s this “start actually working at noon” bullshite that makes me the most angry.
Zero reason this session adjourned, and even less reason it shouldn’t resume at 9AM EST.
