Bigfoot may exist. That's the difference between speculation and observed data.

Observed data is only as good as the sampling effort for it. It would be unwise and scientifically unsound to ignore deficiencies in sampling effort. Usually in scientific studies, the deficiencies and shortcomings are address and adjusted for.

I’m still offering to rent out my little bathroom to store all of the cadavers. They would all still fit very comfortably…

123 died in Italy yesterday. How much room do you have exactly?

Do us a favor.

When US deaths from COVID-19 outpace the number of fatalities from gunshots in Chicago (78 so far in 2020), then you can wet your panties here.

Until then, enjoy your apocalypse boner in private.

EDIT: As I predicted, this is slowly creeping downward to the CFR observed worldwide.

Up to 497, 21 deaths and still only 8 recovered just a couple of hours later.

And just a few hours after that, we're at 547 (the other stats have not changed) because more tests are hitting the medical facilities.

As that number of confirmed cases shoots up over the next few weeks, the media is going to be driving the hype train HARD.

Be ready.

Be ready for what.

22 million people had H1N1 and we didn't hear shite about it till it was over.

22 million? Estimates were between 34 and 67 million.

quote:

CDC estimated that between 34 million and 67 million cases of 2009 H1N1 occurred between April and November 14, 2009. The mid-level in this range was about 47 million people infected with 2009 H1N1

The issue Italy is having is based on it hitting pockets of old people who need ICU care. Its the oldest country in Europe.

lucky for us the financial markets were collapsing, we were involved in a crapfest in Iraq and Afghanistan, Bin Laden was on the loose, and this board was preoccupied by a new president who said a cop acted "stupidly".

When this is over, more people will have died from it than H1N1.

Try again.
You weren't invested in that market. Had you been invested, you'd remember the ~60% market gains corresponding to the course of the 2009 H1N1 outbreak.

You're referring to the 2009 H1N1 outbreak which the administration literally did nothing about from April to October? The same H1N1 outbreak virtually uncovered by Obama's sycophant press corps. Covid-19 would need to prove 10-fold more lethal than H1N1 to justify the coverage it has received.
