Awaiting commentary from the drones on this forum who claimed that Turkey was the driving force in toppling the Assad Regime.

The Ukraine grift is coming to an end quickly...
The MIC has moved on to escalation somewhere else so they can continue to eat...

I'm so sick of these jackasses using our tax dollars to fund wars to enrich themselves, and then preach to us about how it's all done out of righteous indignation to help protect America.

I actually wish this had passed...

In 1916 an amendment was proposed to the Constitution that all acts of war would be put to a national vote. Anyone voting yes had to register as a volunteer for service in the United States Army.

Acts of war are supposed to be passed by Congress but often aren’t.

Did it include women?

I would love to have a national referendum on any conflict we enter (including our involvement in Ukraine) with those voting for war action agreeing to participate by their affirmative vote.

In the States they could vote, I suppose so.

You bet they will. The U.S., the U.K. and Israel have no problem allowing Christians to get their heads lopped off.

If I’m not mistaken, only the declaration of war against Japan and its Axis allies was approved by Congress after the bombing of Pearl Harbor.

Yay, let's bomb the Middle East! It'll work in our favor one of these times.

Who does the U.S. want to control here? I don't understand any of this.

Who are we fighting again? And who are we fighting for?

This is both an intelligent and a good thing.
With the collapse of the Assad, Russian, and Iranian coalition, there are many ownerless weapons hanging around. If nothing is done, they will fall into the hands of the victorious terrorist faction.
This would be bad. Just keeping it simple.
Now, while unmanned and unprotected, is the time to eliminate them!
Or would we prefer to face the naval vessels, aircraft, ground equipment, and ammunition in the hands of the victorious terrorist?!

So NATO aggression?

Why didn’t we just continue letting Assad keep it under control?

Kinda like passing a budget, Congress has punted its authority and allowed presidents to operate in the gray area since 1942....
