So, if I do the same thing to a woman who gets abortions like I get haircuts, am I threatening her?

Maybe. Depends on the context and platform you use.
He sends her a personal email just like this guy did. Everything in the email is the same word for word except swapping the Minnesota ICE incident for her decision to get her 10th abortion.
Illegal or not?

What threat did he make?

Free speech doesn’t mean you can threaten the life of an official. He is lucky he just got a warning. Your post is doing the exact opposite of what you intended. Did you even read the article?

I thought you were a lawyer? Surely you know what was in that email doesn’t meet the legal threshold of a “threat.”

I suuport ICE and deporting all illegals, but nothing in the X post sounded threatening. He was just telling the guy his opinion of him. IMHO

So without seeing the full, unredacted email that the guy sent to ICE, then I'm going to be skeptical about whether something was omitted from what was quoted because it wouldn't have fit the narrative.
You also have to wonder if this was the only email sent? It very well could be the only email, or part of the email, Streever's attorney sent to the media.

Why would they purposely not quote the worst part of the emails?

Unless this guy is some kind of spiritual leader then you don’t have an argument. Again context matters.

This bothers me. Not as much as 40 million people being encouraged by federal politicians to break federal law, but still it bothers me.
"You will never know peace" is a pretty clear threat and it doesn't botherme in the least that it was trwated as such Far worse than anything the typical J6 victim did.

Ahh, I see the confusion. You don't know the legal definition of "threat." Hell, it looks like you don't even know the colloquial definition You can either look it up and come back here and apologize for your stupidity, or just remain ignorant. Choice is yours.
Threats are intended to intimidate. Which this was clearly his objective and why he sent them via direct communication although he was smart enough to allow some plausible deniability in the eyes of the obtuse or gullible.
Imagine he sent the same message to your wife or child…would you be concerned or looking over your shoulder? Be honest.
That’s how you know it’s a threat.

Streever was on a trip to Finland with his 7-year-old daughter last month when two officers showed up to his home and handed his wife a warning notice informing him that an email he sent months earlier was considered a threat.
There's some thick irony here.
This dude that was speaking out against the tactics deployed to apprehend illegal immigrants, was vacationing with his kid in one of the WHITEST nations on GOD's blue earth.
ETA: Was there some esoteric reason that he didn't take his kid to marvel at the wonderful vistas in Mogadishu, Mosul or Beijing?

Different set of Amendments apply to spiritual leaders?

So you agree that, if I tell people walking into to an abortion clinic “you will never know peace,” I should be arrested?
