don’t know why some keep making the argument that gun control is not possible. It’s a foolish argument with the UK, Sweden, etcetera sitting right there as glaring cases in which it has worked totally. And if you rest this important case on foolish arguments you will eventually lose.
Oh well if you say so, I guess we will all just shut up.
First, the geographic size and the “diversity” of and sheer number of guns that have been in this nation for many decades are just three things that distinguish your Northern European examples from the US. We have had the Second Amendment —and for very specific and intentional purposes fundamental to our very existence of our nation—for centuries. So the number of guns extant here is directly related to the 2A. (The current strength and enforcement of the 2A is a different argument.)
Let’s assume “we” decide we WANT to ban and eliminate all guns. Ok. Repeal the 2A. Now it’s your turn. Explain to me how you get the guns away from the people we least want owning guns? Not only do you fail completely at that task, but all you do is concentrate gun ownership—categorically—into the hands of criminals.
Congrats, Nimrod. We should definitely shut up and put you in charge.

So they detained a person of interest without letting us know anything about him or her.

Didn’t she have to go before congress for the antisemitism stuff?

I frequent that area around 6 times a year. The DEI initiatives have taken over everywhere...amusing to see and horribly divisive with the "normal" people left.

I’ve tried to understand why they believe the way they do. You can’t. It’s mental illness and/or pure evil.
Most normal people you can reason with. Not these people. Especially when they congregate. You can go up to just about anyone wearing a red MAGA hat and reason with them and have a debate or constructive conversation. Not possible with most of the leftist loons.

Most people understand what confounders are. Everyone has their blind spots. Yours will line up with your predispositions.

Seems news agencies use the word casualties for deaths.
They use the word victims or people shot to describe the wounded.
They need to speak to the majority of Americans. Most people aren't bright enough to know casualties means dead and wounded.
In war, wounding the enemy is better than killing them. Takes up more resources, people, and effort.

At first there would definitely be a concentration of guns in the hands of criminals, which is just what happened in the UK and Europe. Eventually you would reach the point at which it was rare for criminals to have guns.
Why can’t you make arguments without insults?

Why can't you reply to my links to gun violence increasing in Sweden and violent crime detentions going up each year in Australia?
Maybe if you could admit you are wrong and showed humility, others would treat you with some respect.

Worked totally? As in the people’s liberty, humanity, and freedoms being completely at the whim of the government? Worked totally, as in their daughters and mothers are being raped at alarming rates?
You are a disgrace to our forefathers, who sacrificed, bled, and died for the rights and liberties you piss on. Have you no shame?

No dude, i was blindly stating the obvious which from “reports” it was #2 on that list…..plus you had another #2 on the list in DC a couple weeks ago, a #2 on troops in Syria yesterday and a #2 in Australia this morning.
Sorry that stats and facts injure your poor little brain.

Meh, in the immediate aftermath it’s not surprising that erroneous information from the chaos is inadvertently conveyed to the press.
It’s not necessarily a conspiracy or intentional false reporting…
