Update: New - 48% of Maricopa election centers had printer or tabulator malfunctions on election day, not the previously estimated 20%. And no such widespread issues were reported during the early voting period that preceded election day and used the very same equipment. Wow.

What are tabulators?

What could a malfunction with a tabulator cause?

Could it make it so signatures could not be matched electronically? It could.

Could it kick votes out for adjudication? It could.

Is tabulator error a necessary step to altering vote totals? It is.

And a lot of people advocate for paper ballots?
Makes no sense to me. We use touch screens here in BR and I do not know of any issues. We also get our results fast.

I like that as well. I would prefer to have a paper receipt, or a digital review showing who / what received my votes that I can take a picture of. Lastly, I should be able to see my votes online with a code to confirm that it is tallied correctly.

I thought Maricopa used electronic machines. Is that incorrect?

Here in Georgia we have to use the fraudulent black boxes. Touch screen, then prints our selections and includes a proprietary barcode that no phone app can read, then we feed it into the mysterious tabulator and the ballot then drops into a locked holding container.

There are a lot of opportunity to change votes or toss out votes.

What does this have to do with Trump being unelectable?

The old argument was that unions and other thugs could bully you if they could see how you voted, or they could pay for your votes and see the proof. It is a valid concern, but at this point we might have to chance that in order to help clean up whatever the World Economic Forum types are doing behind the curtains.

Everything they do in Arizona is by paper ballots. They use machines to print/count those ballots.
