A trend I have noted is the worse the political analysis , the more likely it is to come with a phrase like “ underestimate at your own peril “. Bad political prognostication is almost always accompanied by over confidence or over statement.

The 2020 election is already in the bag. The democrats only hope is 2024 and that isn’t looking good. The younger generation is breaking that party at its foundation. Really fun to watch

Was going to respond to OP, but you already brought up what I was going to say.
A Biden candidacy ought to be a non-starter. There are a bunch of "Creepy Joe" videos out there, though most use the same footage (a cynic would think there's more out there to find). A half or full minute ad using that, or more pertinently a campaign to get people to watch it over the internet, and Biden ain't going anywhere.
Plus he isn'at as utterly hapless a campaigner as Hillary, but he isn't at Bill C.'s level for that, or even Obama's.
Just never going to happen.

I'm a lifelong conservative voter and I agree that Harris is a serious.threat. However, it won't be enough to have her as the undercard. The last three VPs have had no future as a Presidential candidate.
If you want Harris to replicate Obama's success she has to headline the ticket with Sanders as the VP.
That would continue the chain of party elder statesmen who have had unsuccessfully run for President getting the silver medal.
Those of you who are focusing on the economy are looking at the wrong thing.
This is purely max tribal turnout for the left.

Personally, I'm hoping Eric Holder runs as he's promised, just so Trump can go scorched earth on his arse after everything he pulling while AG for the crooked Obama administration.

I'll never underestimate the Democrat party. There are plenty of democrat voters who don't care who the face of the ticket is; they'll pull the lever for the D.
You will never hear of democrat voters "holding their nose and pull the lever" in an election, unlike their conservative counterparts.
I know Booker and Harris are attention whores who have been speculated to run for Pres in 2020, thus their antics have been not surprising in the least. Booker is a nerd, harris acts like she is this tough chick but is lacking in smarts. Both very racist though.
