Ukrainian refugees

Why are we not taking them in like Afghan refugees? They have nothing to go back to. Homes are in ruins. I say we create another billion dollar deal to let them set up in NY. Flip that state red. That’s why!!!

Because the war started 2 weeks ago and everyone is scattering. We'll end up taking in a lot of Ukrainian refugees, I'm sure, as time goes on. Right now, they're trying to get to safety. And, hopefully, Ukraine holds and sends the Russian Army back to Russia. So, there's still a lot of possibility people can return to their country without being slaughtered.

I'm down for us taking in all Ukrainian refugees. Our cultures don't oppose each other.
Only reason I was against taking in middle eastern refugees was because our cultures directly opposed each other. With those cultural differences, it would lead to a lot of American citizens being harmed. Like what happened in Sweden. Countless swedish women were raped, and a lot of their attackers weren't even punished because of 'cultural differences'.
