Putin is not gonna stop at Ukraine if he manages to take the whole country. His next target will be Moldova, which isnt a nato country so that wont be the flashpoint, but when hes done with Moldova the next targets on his list will be the former eastern bloc countries like Romania, Lithuania, and Estonia.
Putin has been outspoken about his admiration of the works of Peter the Great who expanded the Russian Empire. Putin's minions are already rattling sabers over the Baltics who are de-Russifying and place great value on their independence. The Russian minorities imposed there were the rulers until the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Ukraine seems to be ok with bombing cities. Not just active war zones.
I wonder if Vlad launches a couple hundred into Kiev.
You know what the difference between Ukraine and Russia is? Ukraine uses a ballistic missiles to attack military targets like ammunition depots. Russia uses ballistic missiles to attack civilian targets like apartment buildings.

Excited about people dying in Ukraine and Russia? No. Excited to read some juicy melts from the posters on this board? Yes.
Imagine having this mentality. All so you can chuckle at some strangers on the internet. Sad.

Your stupidity is fully on display with such a moronic comment.
We are not directing it. Ukraine is not even sharing its plans with the USA anymore because the White House would leak them to the media before Ukraine could execute them.

Yes. Give Ukraine their nukes back or allow them to exit the nonproliferation treaty and build nukes without sanctions.
You really ARE stupid, aren't you?
That little runt would use them in a heartbeat, and you know he would. Which is what I think, deep down, you actually want.

Why did Biden have to approve intermediate range missile use?

The American model of freedom and democracy has always posed a clunky and hypocritical albatross of taking the necessary steps in maintaining an empire. We have to do the dirty work in secret, and our propaganda is obvious and makes no sense.
And we've done it regardless. There is no consistent or organized opposition from which you can even push back. That it doesn't make sense doesn't mean very much.

It worked for a long time in the multipolar Cold War era because we had good message in contrast to the Soviets and had organic admiration. I just don’t think we can come up with a message that works to maintain a unipolar world order for the reasons I mentioned at the beginning of the post. That is the simple way of putting it.
It has worked in the post-CW world because countries within the US-sphere become extremely rich. Look at the Post-Soviet countries which were looking to join the West from Visegrad in 1988 onward. There is no other economic model which works as well as the one the US has developed.

We need to take the boot off of Europe and allow them to take their own sovereignty more seriously imo. I just don’t see how this can be maintained so why delay the inevitable?
Well, the worry in the 1990's was that there would be a Central European power who would rise up to challenge the US. The US circumvented that possibility with NATO expansion but since 2006, has consistently sought to build up European forces, with resistance from Europe itself. What the latest phase of the Russo-Ukrainian war has done has drawn the US and it's allies closer together about the need for building up in very specific ways. The procurement strategies and the investments made into the Korean and Turkish defense industries allow for some excess US industrial capacity to be used to buttress allies.
At the same time, the US leaving certain areas to their own devices, such as the Eastern Mediterranean, has led to intense competition between Turks, Greeks and Israelis and I'm not sure that was what the US expected. A slower withdrawal might be what is required, given that US power has papered over several geopolitical flashpoints.

About what I would expect from a republican. They are as dumb as liberals. Name calling, but can't argue the points....But if Trump supports it, you support it!

Ya know what's really sad about this shitshow???
Is that I have more confidence in Putin to respond with restraint than our corrupt, disgusting, Marxist federal government.
Until Trump is sworn in.

Russia wants to continue their globalization of the world.
Russia doesn’t have the economic strength or demographic capabilities to do so if they so desired. Texas has a larger economy than Russia.
The biggest threat to continued Liberty in this nation does not arise from Moscow, Beijing or Tehran but from Washington D.C. The crisis continues until enough American citizens reach this inescapable conclusion.
