Is this one small bank going rogue or is this something that is a UK policy?

It's to "keep you safe" guys!

Cashless sounds like an excellent way to go. Your money could not be available simply because your bank or government says so.

They lose money when it’s not in a bank. Like they care about the little people

Probably similar to the $600 transaction reporting here... Just another way to keep track of who is dealing in cash...

FaceBook MarketPlace all up in your grill if you sell anything. Under the guise of trying to get the seller a good rating. They want to know who bought what, and how much.

This happens in the US too, they just don't have a friendly sign telling you.

Say “the banks are fricked” without saying “the banks are fricked.”

Imagine moving and downsizing from empty nesting-or having to move for employment---- and selling a few bedroom sets. They will tax you. It is double taxation because you already paid the tax when you bought the bedroom set, no?

I mean, it literally is.
...
Party A deposits $1000
Party B needs a loan.
Bank lends party B $900 of Party A's $1000 deposit then charges interest on money that isn't actually the bank's.
Party A wants to withdraw $1000.
Bank says "you can't do that."
Party A says, "why not"
Bank says "because we lent your money to party B"
Party A left holding his dick in his hand and nothing else....
...
That, ladies and gentlemen, is the very definition of a ponzy scheme.

If I go into my bank to make a cash withdrawal and get questioned on why I need MY money, all accounts get closed right then.

I recall hearing that the U.K> & Germany were years ahead of the USA on the forward green new deal. It failed miserably and Biden still repeated the insanity.
Obama is running Biden the way he wanted to govern, like a dictator spying on everyone destroying America and the economy.
And Biden takes the disapproval ratings and is paid well while they are all guilty so they can't tell on each other.
