Egypt publicly held a press conference yesterday where they announced they were committed to their peace treaty with Israel. Which considering they have a deal with Hamas to allow them to bring weapons in through Egypt in return for Hamas agreeing not to start crap in Egypt, is pretty significant. It means that Hamas is near the end and on the ropes. Egypt has clearly come to that conclusion as they would never do this if they felt Hamas would retain any true influence, and is taunting/ demoralizing Hamas, who they fear infinitely more than Israel.
