Which Trump is obviously a member now since he hijacked the party. He's supporting whatever they want.

Trump has always been a moderate. He is late to this party. Very late. It’s his last term. Whatever movement he started has become bigger than him. He has no control over it.

Trump needs to familiarize himself with the term "a bridge too far" He is digging himself a bigger hole that eventually he won't get out of. The majority of his supporters are not going to let this go and the more he tries to deflect and coverup the worse this will get for him. His supporters do not trust the government and the Epstein thing started way before Trump ever ran for office. He needs to be transparent and release it all no matter who it takes down. Congressmen, ex-presidents, intel agencies, other countries particularly Israel. frick them all. You can't destroy the deep state unless you get rid of the whole blackmail game and expose it all. Now if it's been doctored by the left then he needs to release that evidence as well. The truth shall set you free.

People really believe the democrats had control of the file for 4 years and just let it sit there undisturbed? LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Any democrat name would have obviously been removed and republicans added. Doubtful one single original page remains.

Great point, and IMO THAT is precisely what the average Republican voter is thinking on the issue. The silent majority, and not anywhere aligned with social media drama queens and media whores.

You are in for a rude awakening when he isn’t on the ballot in 28’ and at this rate Vance won’t be on it either. Republicans never learn so this shouldn’t be a shock

It's pretty insane he has decided to die on this Epstein hill. All he is doing is fanning the flames of the conspiracies. Just fricking release the file. It's not that hard.

“I don’t want their support anymore”.

He’s going scorched earth with his own base on an 80:20 issue.

This is the worst political calculation I’ve ever seen him make going back to 2015.

That's my conclusion on the matter - without someone with original material come forward - it is a forever unknown matter.

Some of the 'victims' need to show up = but it either didn't happen or they have all been bought off or scared into silence.

Not the conclusion I want, but may not be worth the effort to pursue.

That’s the insane part of what he’s doing.

He’s now owning the Epstein situation when it was never his scandal in the first place.

Regardless of whether you think it’s legit or not, it’s horrible politics and reeks of someone who is way out over his skis right now with regard to how much power he has over his base and frankly ego.

I don’t doubt he thinks this is a nothing burger, I do think he’s completely sabotaging the remainder of his term over something that could’ve been skated past if he didn’t want to let it see the light of day.

He can blame the left all he wants, this is his disaster from a PR standpoint as well as a functional perspective if you you believe as 80% of the country does that this is a coverup.

One of them just died under suspicious circumstances I sure as hell wouldn’t want to talk to the press right now when the president has clearly signaled he doesn’t want to touch it.

Possibly true he dragged a lot of swing districts across the line in 24.

He’s still the front runner and can’t be seen to openly break from Trump because he will desperately need his endorsement in 2028.

Republicans learn just fine, it’s just they lie to their base to get elected then go to DC to do what their donors tell them. We’re the suckers, not them.

Our corrupt government is way better than the previous corrupt government so quit bitching. Those of you who don’t agree and won’t shut up can get lost. I don’t want your support anymore.

True.
This is different. My heart bleeds for the children. MAGA will lose support, the mid-terms & a 2028 JD Presidency over the Epstein scandal. BOOK IT!!!

The difference is we will know everything but no one will pay.

With Epstein we know nothing and no one will pay.

That's a fair point but Trumps responsibility to the Epstein case ranks on the bottom half of what I want from him right now.
