He’s connected to Big Pharma sns/or a pill peddling practice or two. The North LA state rep leading the fight against THC in the last Louisiana legislative session is part of a family under investigation for illegal distribution of opiods.

They won’t want the pill addicts making the switch to THC. It’s about the money. It is ALWAYS about the money.

I don’t see the angle.

People want the THC to be legal.

And bail? Change the law to allow a determination of flight risk and danger to the community to result in no bail. Get rid of the stupid and primitive practice of setting bail with the hoped for result of detention.

Patrick and Perry contend that the industry has endangered public health by putting products on the shelf with dangerously high levels of THC well beyond the 0.3% threshold.

IDK about Texas but Georgia has banned pretty much anything worth consuming & replaced it with artificial THC-P, which is reaching overdose levels. It's over 30X stronger than regular weed & effects last up to 48 hours.

Personally I tried a 2mg gummy, which is supposed to be a modest dose, and felt like a zombie for about 8 hours. It was so bad I threw the rest out.

Your post says it isn't legal weed???

Dan Patrick is being dishonest. All the products are 0.3% THC-D9 (the one that causes euphoria) as required by law. The products are over 0.3% THC in general because there are multiple THC variants like D8 and D10. These variants produce less euphoria and more pain relief and relaxation.

Dan is lying for political purposes. If they are being sold illegally, why not arrest them now? Why do we have to pass this law before we can arrest people breaking the law right now?

But anyone know why the hell Dan Patrick has such a hard on for THC and “legal” weed?

For the same reason we can’t buy beer or wine before 10 am on Sunday, or any liquor at all. Or have any form of online betting. If you figure out what that reason is, let me know.

Good summary. My son and his friend had grow licenses, but they ended up not renewing them. They were small time. Could not compete with the Chinese / corporate grows, plus the state significantly jacked the license renewal cost.

Still, I live in Logan County and there are several small grow operations right around where I live.

I voted for it, and I'm not sorry I did, but they need to do a better job of enforcing the rules that are on the books.

Hell, it’s not even real weed he’s targeting. It’s that THC stuff made with some different delta ingredient or whatever.

You have to wonder if Dan Patrick is one of those “hard core” social conservatives who’s really a closet homo.
