How did the RINO candidates lose in the primaries if they are better quality?

Are you under the impression that the preferences of partisan primary voters is an indication of whether an individual is qualified for office or a viable general election candidate?

If so, that would explain why you asked your question.

His PAC pushed a lot of money to Hageman in WY to help blow out Cheney.

So his PAC wasted money in an election whose result was determined in January of 2021? That would work even more to my point that Rand prefers attention over actually doing anything.

McConnel is still passively fighting against Trump. He knows that if he can kill off the Trump candidates it will hurt Trumps chances for running in 2024.

McConnel want to lose the golden opportunity to regain power so that he can then blame it on Trump and his poor candidates. If the Republicans reclaimed power in congress with Trump candidates then its an absolute that Trump will run in 2024 and possibly kick McConnel out of leadership in 2025.

This is an odd basis on which to criticize McConnell. The statement you quoted is correct. I still think the R’s get it done in the Senate, but it would be easier with some candidates stronger than Oz and Walker.

You don't even intimate your candidates are shite.

Even when they are.

Fair point on McConnell just not commenting on the slate, even it’s weak, or especially if it’s weak.

I heard it morning noon, and night. he said it will be close one way or another. he didn't endorse the dems candidates. but wow he admitted a couple of the trumpy ones are not good candidates in and of themselves. we all know they ride on the blessing breath of trump. the one in Wyoming is a doozy. lied about the congratulatory phone call. selling grievance. sick stuff.

Exactly, he didn’t come out and endorse (D) candidates but he shite on his own which is just as bad. He’s part of the “centralized power party” and both sides should refute anyone like him.

By "candidate quality" he means he's not going to go through any walls supporting MAGA candidates. He's strictly GOPE.
