Ukraine has been given modern air defense systems by the US and NATO. Russia is still finding ways to use their air power, though.

T-90Ms are being produced by the hundreds each month.

Every Russian tank is based off of older tanks, they’re just upgraded. Every country does this. Like the already mentioned T-90M.

Ukraine is using older tanks as well. People don’t seem to understand tanks are meant to last decades because designing a whole new tank takes years and lots of money.

A tank is a tank and it’s better than nothing in an attrition war.

Yes, has been given some, and it came like a year into the war. Even in early parts of war Russia failed to establish air superiority

Ukraine had those western air defense systems from the start. Maybe not as many as now, but had them.

I'd argue that this performance by the Russians has more cemented their status as a paper tiger from a military perspective.

I don't even think it's arguable. What you stated, to me, is very factual.

I know Ukraine was well supplied by the western world, but even then a modern Russian offensive should have absolutely wiped the floor with them. It's not like they're fighting in deep jungles or something. The terrain and weather conditions of Ukraine is their back yard.

Now in fairness, Russia did win this war unquestionably two years ago, and it has merely been protracted by western intervention, resulting in hundreds of thousands of needles deaths.

If I knew how much NATO was involved in this War in the beginning I would of bet Ukraine would have been in Crimea in 2023. Amazing that Russia was able to hold off and push back the biggest War Machine in the History of the World. Might go down as the biggest upset in history.

I
This was a Proxy War for sure. I don’t know what the objective was? We definitely didn’t win because Ukraine will lose territory.

we haven't faced a nation with a air force since the gulf war. tucker is right we're the 60 year old lothario with gold chains on tinder. we're spending more on defense than the next 11 nations combined and yet our navy is at levels not seen since pre reagan years.

oh well another humilating defeat for the UNIPARTY but a win for the american people!

Libya was again, not us. You might be on the spectrum if you think Libyans or Ukrainians fighting with military equipment gifted by the US is the same thing as fighting the US military

And we kicked the living shite out of Iraq and Afghanistan

What failed in Iraq and Afghan was foolish attempts to nation build. The actual military and combat part were decisive victories, compare casualty rates. Why did Iraq capitulate, why did Afghanistan have to be a guerilla force for 20 years?

These are nations in the most remote shithole part of the world. Ukraine is right on Russia’s border. There is no comparison about who is strong and who is weak

Apparently you haven't seen the beta's in our military these days.

We are far from having combat soldiers the way we used to. It's to the point where im tired of hearing people say the word veteran. Anyone can be a soldier when you're not at war. We are soft, minus special ops and other advanced units, ofcourse.

The Ukraine debacle was a BIG WIN for Globalism, for the MIC, for elitist wealth, and for business-as-usual. The biggest losers were all the young men who lost their lives, but EVERYBODY who wants peace, everybody who who wants a clean government, and everybody who craves government "Of the people, by the people, and for the people" were HUGE LOSERS.

But, of course, sadly there are idiots who fall hook, line, and sinker for everything they're told by the corrupt, bought-and-paid-for corporate media. #SAD

I would take the “betas” in our military over the Russians any day of the week

Weird to hype the military of a country that can’t even beat little Z. Their performance has been a complete disaster, the open sourced documentation of the scale of their equipment and manpower losses is astonishing

When Russia wins this war, it will be from simply expending more men than Ukraine. Not because they are some elite military

The force on force against Iraq's military was a decisive victory. In 2006, 2007 and I think maybe 2008, Iraq had become 1000x more dangerous than when we invaded for combat soldiers.

If you take everyone that deployed to there or Afghanistan, and then you simply delete the roughly 80 to 90% non combat MOS soldiers, that basically flew into a base, and stayed in the base... unless transportation was needed and isolated soldiers that were trained to fight and were deliberately sent to combat zones where known terrorist cells were operating, the survival % / injury % is probably much, much different than when you think. Some units suffered more than 20% casualties during those deployments.

We do have the greatest military in the world, in my opinion, but we were very much still at war during those times and were suffering pretty decent casualties, including some of our highest tiered units.

Russia and Ukraine just fought a war that we have 0 experience in fighting. Tanks and other technology became immediately obsolete, and had we suffered casualties like either of them were, we would have politically been forced to withdraw from that war and it would have absolutely been considered an L. We are very fortunate to not have been in a situation to have sent Bradleys, M1s and all of our other war machines just to get swatted like flys by cheap suicide drones.

It's a race to the bottom with most of the conservative social media pundits/influencers.

They pander to the lowest common denominator and this is what you end up with.

I didn't really like konstatin kisin using the term "woke right", because it's somewhat confusing. But, apparently there are some on the right that trash America just as much as the woke idiots on the left.

The US won the war against Russia/UUSSRthat mattered. The Cold War.

A war between two former USSR states doesn’t matter to many.
