There is no need to move them. In fact MAGA has moved the goal posts so far that we don't even know where they are. We can't move them if we can't find them.

Not just that, he's citing a negative externality caused by this hypocritical move and trying to use that as his new tent pole to claim the people who maintained their policy preferences on new wars are the problem for not having a solution to deal with that negative externality.
It's devoid of any honesty or rationality.

It’s absolutely amazing how many times the goal post moves with the goal of this “war”.

The only goalposts being moved are the people pulling a 180 on military interventionism. As I described above, they're engaging in absolute dishonest rhetoric thereafter.
Just because people who (still) support no new wars (especially in the Middle East) can accurately describe the negative externalities of the war Trump started doesn't mean they've "moved the goal posts", especially if they don't want to double down on the policy they reject.
Trump caused a shite storm. He doesn't appear to have a plan to fix it. It's not the job of the people who told him not to cause the shite storm to give him one.

I believe history will remember the loss of Bagram airfield as “the moment” the American empire began its decline. The catastrophe unfolding in Iran is merely a continuation. We will continue to see ever increasing incompetence in leadership and military embarrassment and defeat for the next several decades in increasing severity.

And then they expect people to be hypocrites in kind to save them from themselves.
Like the rhetorical crab bucket of failure.

And there are real people’s lives on the line. It is truly disgusting.

carlson's mother abandoned her family when he was 6, he never saw her again, his father remarried the heiress to the swanson fortune and he was promptly sent off to boarding school in switzerland he attended trinity college for 4 years obtaining a 1.9 gpa and never graduated.
when faux news told him to cut out the talk of election fraud in 2020 he said thank you sir may i have another! just like when faux told meagain kelly to go after trump in the debate she moderated she did. it's almost as if they say anything that people pay them to say.
for whatever reason both carlson and kelly think there's a market for antisemitism among gen z and millennial's who voted for trump and they've got clicks to sale.
anybody who takes any of these "influencers" seriously is a blithering idiot.

I'm not a big fan of Tucker, but I don't disagree with him here. I'm ready for this shite to be over with. One glimmer of hope I've heard in the last few weeks was a comment Trump made about JD. I don't remember exact words, but essentially admitted JD is more on the isolationist side than Trump himself. Made me think JD has privately told Trump he is against this
I think we can all agree that Gabbard is also. Some may not like what Joe Kent has stated, but I believe him. I've moved on to the I think we fricked up part of this "excusrsion." As far as the Hormuz Straight, bombing the shite out of another country and then telling a bunch of small countries to "take care of it" and it's not our problem is absurd. His speech the other night was absurd.
I appreciate much of what Trump has done. But, jfc can we just stop throwing 100s of billions to war? Do we really need to raise our military budjet Trillions more? Wtf And maybe that Forbes article isn't legit, idk, I hope it's not, saying how much more we are raising our military spending for 2027.

It’s sad but Tucker has lost his damn mind. Basically just a male Candace Owens at this point

In case you didn’t realize it, it was a binary choice. I would’ve voted for anyone besides her.

And trying to attack rational criticism of Trump by pivoting to that is the lowest form of cope.
Nobody is arguing Kamala would have been better. That doesn't insulate Trump from criticism.

Criticize him all you want. I do it all the time. We are still in a much better place having elected him.
This war is all about preserving the petro dollar. People need to realize that. Without the Petro Dollar, we can’t enjoy our standard of living.
