If you read trumps post it sounds more like a regional agreement is being made little to do with Iran and Iran can follow it or not.

We did not. We started a war. They did not want to participate in the war and suffered due to our choices.
Our inability to open the SOH led to us coming to the table.

Still don’t understand how anything short of a full scale ground invasion (which I’m 100% opposed to) and long term occupation resulting in regime change opens the strait for shipping?

Who has proposed a peace deal?
Please detail your contention for the rest of us uninformed sots who thought we were only talking a periodic ceasefire extension while a peace deal would be negotiated.
