I'm prone to agree. I hate having to agree with that but that's the reality.

I was hoping we'd finally finish them off.

It'll come back to bite us in the arse

Its unfortunate. But this needed to end and maybe its a deal for these tards to open up like UAE and Saudis

If wiping out the top to get to a more normal crew in thats down to make money then it will be a massive win but doubt it

The last thing the US needed to do was put troops in Iran so anything militarily outside of that is acceptable. If Iran wants a new government that is up to the people of Iran, not the US.

Finish them off? What does that mean? How is that achieved?

Decimate the IRGC leadership, kill or capture all the radical mullahs, track down, capture and hang all the members of the Basiji.

Let the Iranian people figure out the rest but do our best to be involved and to keep China and Russia outta there, if possible.

What was the premise for our decision to run through Iran's defense network like a hot knife through butter?

The IRGC undoubtedly calls this >> 1000 to 1 military casualty experience, where they lost their entire top echelon of leadership as a war. In reality, for us, it's a mere monetary expense roughly akin to the cost of MN taxpayer fraud.

And we look to have lost it, which is why you're already calling for another war after midterms to finally get that W

100% but you finish what you started. Orange has said that

We dont need to put boots on the ground to take kharg. If you talk about doing that since the 80s you make it happen

With the current status of this conflict we have only weakened ourselves internationally. Wow!

We have proven that Iran can shut down the strait.

We have proven that we won’t do what it takes to open it

We have proven we can’t rally other countries to help us open it

And by reporting we are giving in on MAJOR things like sanctions reparations etc

When we preemptively struck we looked like a bully.

Now we look like the bully who can’t back it up.

The same as how we were completely neutered in our our ability to stop them shutting down the SOH

We took no ground

There was no regime change

We didn't remove their nuclear capability

They will make China even stronger

We just killed a lot of meatsuits and destroyed equipment China will sell to them again

What did we accomplish?

We leave Iran emboldened with the deterrence of a nuke without having to have a nuke.

No regime change

We didn't remove their nuclear capability

There doesn't appear to be any restrictions on their trade with China

We may be paying them reparations

Hopefully there will be no more uranium enrichment, of any kind, allowed. If they want nuclear power they can buy uranium from ... whomever. No waepons grade.

Oh, and no tolls in the Straight of Hormuz.

Completely agree (though I know to you that’s not a compliment )

Kharg is an achievable goal to negotiate from strength

Maybe we got led into something based on false information maybe we didn’t regardless we are here. To preserve face internationally AND potentially turn the Iran situation into Venezuela with them as a vassal state take kharg cripple them economically and make them come to the table on our terms.

Where did the descriptor for Trump, TACO, originate?

It absolutely applies if this surrender to the IRGC goes through.
