I get it and I definitely agree it’s difficult to square. I’m certainly not qualified to argue or educate on spiritual matters but speaking for myself it’s easier to see how insignificant life on earth is if you believe in an eternal afterlife. By that I mean, yes they will miss their dad for a few years but they will be reunited soon and will live together forever in the glory of God and heaven. If you believe that awaits them then it’s not quite the tragedy it seems.
