You may not understand this as someone who isn't a Christian, but if I was called home to heaven and was able to do so protecting and saving my family I would look at that as God's grace, not God's neglect.

This is exactly how I feel. The Lord placed the girl’s father in that situation to save her life. What an immense honor it would be for a Christian to be called home after saving your child from a tragedy.

What proof do you have that it was divine intervention and not just a happening (a lucky break?).

You are seeing what you want to see..

What proof do you have that wind exists?

I think about this sometimes. But that would mean God could have prevented the other man from being killed and didn’t. I guess that’s possible, but it’s hard to square.

I dont think that God gave us free will to destroy ourselves bub. Free will was given as a choice to salvation. It wasn't the creators intention for us to get drunk and high which ultimately leads to the destruction of Gods body. But you wouldn't know anything about that.

Maybe dying isn’t the punishment you perceive it to be.

Where was God when the Democrats cheated their asses off in 2020?

Seems like God gets all the credit for the good breaks and isn't involved in the bad ones.

Yeah, nothing says leadership and character like supporting full term abortions.

We talking RFK now or DJT?

Man, a lot of vitriol up in here for someone who is considering voting for someone other than Trump. Y'all sound violent. Be careful you don't become what you espouse to hate.

This is a red herring. I never said God always intervenes in the political will of mankind.

It wouldn't be called Divine Intervention if it happened all the time.

I don't know what concept is so confusing and hard to understand for you. I didn't say God did Trump any favors, I said that his survival was divine intervention. The implication that God is choosing to work through Trump.

Why didn’t he just work through Secret Service and not have someone’s brain explode on his family?

Not all deaths are in God's plan but are caused by evil people.

God doesn't always intervene. I don't know what his reasons are for intervening when does.

Well he did. He saved him on the cross. Death isn't the end.

The Indian Legend of Washington’s Divine Protection
quote:

“I am a chief and ruler over my tribes. My influence extends to the waters of the great lakes and to the far blue mountains. I have traveled a long and weary path that I might see the young warrior of the great battle. It was on the day when the white man’s blood mixed with the streams of our forests that I first beheld this Chief. I called to my young men and said, mark yon tall and daring warrior? He is not of the red-coat tribe – he hath an Indian’s wisdom, and his warriors fight as we do – himself alone exposed. Quick, let your aim be certain, and he dies. Our rifles were leveled, rifles which, but for you, knew not how to miss – `twas all in vain, a power mightier far than we, shielded you.” One warrior declared: “I had seventeen fair fires at him with my rifle and after all could not bring him to the ground! Seeing you were under the special guardianship of the Great Spirit, we immediately ceased to fire at you.”
