At least you are not trying to claim that DeSantis did not shut down the state of Fl

Because he didn't, which has been shown several times.

You were wrong. Find a new talking point.

Everything the tweet stated/showed was accurate. Hence, "facts."

No it was not. The video linked to that tweet used NONE of those words.

Trump acknowledging DeSantis led the way in keeping FL free/open.

None of that was stated by Trump.

Leading the way in "Keeping free and open". Is 100% false. As linked to by another poster, DeSantis shut down his state. He set up check points at state lines. He shut down schools.

Why are you so fervently defending a globalist?

I suspect it's probably because you don't really even know what that means.

People who lived it are here telling you that you're full of shite. It's time for you to stop being full of shite.

This ignorant comment is just that. Based in ignorance that Trump is anti trade.

Just ignorance.

DeSantis shutting down Florida (Insider)

You call Jj a liar when simple (Free) research says otherwise.

That's a headline.

Shockingly, you didn't bother to read your link.

Here is the only mention of a lockdown in the entire article:

quote:

Republican Mayor Francis Suarez of Miami, who was the first person in Miami-Dade County to test positive for the novel coronavirus, told Insider last week that DeSantis should implement a statewide lockdown.

Why? Because we didn't have a lockdown in Florida.

You and Jj al-Sahhaf need to be reminded that you're a couple of lying little propagandists. You aren't getting out of it.

Kemp is a problem

Kemp has won both elections for Governor and has allowed GA to have a surplus and returned money to the taxpayers. He's not a problem. It's not his fault that Trump alienated 135K voters in 2020 in GA who voted for at least 1 down-ballot Republican but not him (Trump). Not his fault that suburban ATL voters who traditionally vote Republican were turned off by Trump's atrocious message discipline.

Maybe. But he's not DeSantis by any stretch, and his former LG has completely jumped the shark.

Gov. Ron DeSantis issued a statewide stay-at-home order on Wednesday afternoon to curb the rate of infection in his state during the global coronavirus pandemic.

The order will go into effect at midnight Thursday and last for at least 30 days.

“It makes sense to make this move now,” the Republican governor said during a press conference Wednesday,

From the Tampa news:

quote:

Gov. Ron DeSantis Wednesday signed an executive order limiting all activity in Florida to essential services over the next 30 days to try to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.

Exactly what every state did except 7.

All states kept certain businesses open. They were called essential services.

quote:

“We’re going to be in this for another 30 days,’’ DeSantis said at a news conference crowded with reporters in his small Capitol office.

“That’s just the reality that we find ourselves in. And so so given those circumstances, given the the unique situation in Florida, I’m going to be doing an executive order today, directing all Floridians to limit movements and personal interactions outside the home to only those necessary to obtain or provide essential services or conduct essential activities.”

Florida now will become the 34th state to ask most residents to essentially stay home to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the deadly disease caused by the coronavirus.

What? This is from the article.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, a Republican closely aligned with President Donald Trump, on Wednesday issued a stay-at-home order for the entire state to slow the spread of the coronavirus, effective Thursday, after weeks of refusing to take bold measures.
