Agreed on the football stadiums, but even that would be better than using $1M cruise missiles to blow up random buildings in Tehran because some general might be sleeping there.

Electricians make good money.
Until construction slows down, which it did in January. Just wait until the data center boom ends, which it will, and all those electricians are thrown into the labor pool of unemployed.
Trade skills are no different than any skill subject to supply and demand. It is just silly to assume that all one has to do is become an electrician and all financial anxieties are magically solved.

Pretty sad
Saying Trump did better than Kamala would have is going to lose republicans 2028.
Saying things are bad but could be worse doesn't win elections.

lol this isn’t an echo chamber - this is how most of the country feel - why because the last election proved it

I work in the rail industry and we are having another phenomenal year. Will be better than last year. The only thing that’s really hurting me is insurance rates. Insurance is completely out of line with pricing, in all segments. Fuel is another but at least i can understand why and that it should be a short term issue

BS
Try any type of threat to send a missile with a nuclear warhead to any US Facility in Europe or the Middle East to be a threat. Thousands of military and dependents lives are worth protecting.
Iran sent teams of scientists to North Korea with some of travel money provided by Obama. They were there to learn how to build a bomb. They have the same the Norks have. How to miniaturize the warhead to send 50 Mgtons to a target. Norks blew up their test mountain.
In all likelihood every process of enrichment stopped. The centrifuges are a continual process enrichment, destroy the power sources you have stopped the process. Just like refining oil, disrupt the process and months of clean out are required.

The solutions Trump has been putting in place were always years away.
Too bad he promised immediate results over and over. But everyone with half a brain knows he’s a grifter based solely on history

He could've done that, he just needed short term incentives instead of fighting wars in the middle east.
Its clear from about three months in that once the ink was dry on the tariff deals that the focus shifted and it hasnt come back domestically because of whatever is going on between us, Iran and Israel.

Exactly. How's the latest Trump Term working out? Can't wait for the arrival of a new Economist-In-Chief who's willing to serve the interests of America, writ large (maybe Gavin?)

His poll numbers are deserved. He has ignored the American people by his continuous foreign interventions. America first is dead.

Yes…because after COVID, people wanted results. And Trump bragged about easy everything would be. He would end the Ukraine War in 24 hours, Tariffs will immediately usher in a Golden Age. No new wars. Etc etc etc.
The reality is that he is just a gigantic bullshite artist:

Groceries are through the roof! I like Trump, but the inflation sucks arse.

He'll never get another term this way

This quote says it all
"It's unbelievable how disconnected Donald Trump is from the chaos that he himself is causing the American people. But I'm glad you could have a nice time golfing and visiting Graceland while we're all freaking the [BLEEP] out."
"Donald Trump is without a doubt one of the most prodigious liars this country has ever produced. He's our supreme misleader."
"these questions of great importance and consequence to our country, he handles with such shitty glibness."

There is still a lot of time between between now and November, but every sign so far points to the GOP getting killed in the midterms. Fortunately, the Senate map is favorable for Republicans, but even that could close. Especially with aging conservative Supreme Court justices, having control of the Senate will be huge. A Democratically controlled House can only do so much damage--especially since we can't even pass a budget now.
