It seems I pick unpopular candidates (Trump a the time I picked him) and unpopular threads (this one). Trump's proposals, and whether he gets them done, represent probably the largest shift in policy direction most posters on this board have ever been witness to. And still no sticky. sticky.

* SECOND, begin the process of selecting a replacement for Justice Scalia from one of the 20 judges on my list, who will uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States

* THIRD, cancel all federal funding to Sanctuary Cities

Spicer laid groundwork for the 3rd one listed in briefing today

They gave a date for the 2nd one to be next week, an actual nominee.

quote:

* FOURTH, begin removing the more than 2 million criminal illegal immigrants from the country and cancel visas to foreign countries that won't take them back

* FIFTH, suspend immigration from terror-prone regions where vetting cannot safely occur. All vetting of people coming into our country will be considered extreme vetting.

These were discussed in todays briefing as well, as if the plan has been formed and just waiting on announcement

I can't see how any libertarian or conservative isn't at least somewhat happy so far.

So much progress

I bumped for sticky- this is relevant regardless of who you voted for.

BTW, I'm amazed at his progress so far!

Still progressing along. Some heavier lifting to come. Not sure why everyone is debating everything on page one, but quietly we seem to be making a significant shift in American policy, and starting to return power as much as possible to the American people. Probably not worthy of a sticky though, notwithstanding that this is historic. Probably more important to debate what Trump might, or might not tweet tonight.

I requested a sticky again. I suspect like a lot of my predictions, history will look back at these early days as significantly historic. As I do now. But not worth of a sticky of course.
