Something is definitely happening here. Some how someway he’s connecting with black voters. Pretty remarkable considering the constant narrative against him

I agree. Those don’t add up at all. I do think there are a lot of people that won’t admit in a polling their voting for Trump, but those approval ratings look inflated based on polls we are seeing. It won’t be a landslide for sure.

emerson has trump getting 19% of black vote and zogby has him at 20. both are more than double what he got last time @ 8%.

I'll believe 25% and MAYBE 30% but 45%? Man, that's hard to believe. I hope it's right though. I just don't see that many leaving the democrat plantation.

There's a whole bunch of "secret" support for Trump. Lot of people aren't going to tell a pollster they're voting for him because of the potential social stigma.
I remember in 2016 there was a reporter live from a Dayton, OH polling place. In the background was a youngish black male walking into a voting booth with a black hoodie on, hood up with just a red cap brim poking out. He gave the camera a smile and pulled the hood back to reveal it was a MAGA hat and the producer or cameraman made the reporter walk to her right so the guy would be out of the frame.
Edit: It was in Cleveland, not Dayton. Chris Jansing was the reporter. I can find articles on it but no video so far.

Purely anecdotal, but from the black people I have talked to, more black men are supporting Trump. Jobs, the number one reason.
