If this does not wake people up, and motivate them to vote Republican in 2020, then the Republic is lost.

when trump wins in 2020, the republicans will keep the senate. i do not see a scenario where he wins and they lose the senate. and depending on how much he wins by the house could flip as well.

Yeah, this is the most telling comment and should concern everyone. If they say this about a sitting President, then nothing is off limits to get somebody they oppose.

They have to know this would be extraordinarily bad for them individually if they would pull this. Depending on who will try this, they may want to hedge their bet by buying property in a place with no extradition treaty and tickets to leave very early the morning after the election.
