I honestly don’t see what the big deal is. Israel is duty bound to defend itself first and it can also be an ally.

Yeah that really became obvious when Trump ordered him to participate in the ceasefire with Hezbollah. “Him” being the leader of a totally different, sovereign country, and only while they were engaged in operations aimed at perhaps increasing the possibility of the country not being overwhelmed and raped out of existence some random month, any year now. You can say they have entirely too much influence on our political sphere, and they certainly do.
But if/when another world war breaks out - or at least war with China - I'd MUCH rather have Israel and Mossad on our team than just about any other nation. They punch way above their weight class and are extremely efficient at warfare and intelligence
