Don’t even waste your time. Those kinds of questions are blatantly ignored by them. The only folks who have worthwhile and actual persuasive answers to those kind of “explain yourself” questions are the folks on the opposite side of the ones you directed your post to/at.

Here’s what eventually becomes the relevant question, at some point in time: when the point arrives that simply due to incapacity of age or death from old age, and there literally are no more people who possibly could have had anything whatsoever to do with “that,” does it become asinine to hold a grudge against folks who are of newer generations who are maybe only passingly familiar with that event, if familiar at all?

I’m quite interested in someone’s take on that issue, someone who possesses active resentment about that, present day.

An ally is a partner who makes choices that benefit the US. Every choice Israel is making is being made to benefit Israel.

Those are just logistical hubs to serve American interests, not to serve those countries.

But like above, I note that you moved the goalposts instead of trying to prove that American benefits just as much from this partnership as Israel does. It leaves one to question why you chose to stay away from that.

That was a weird gotcha attempt that completely whiffed.

You're calling me out for supporting things that do serve American interests and not supporting something that doesn't. I'll chalk it up to me being American first and you just admitting that you aren't.

The optics of this war with respect to Israel were terrible to begin with. But then, you send two guys who are perceived as Israeli assets to do negotiating and the third was on the phone with Bibi throughout them. That's why people are saying WTF.
