So much nonsense to unpack. A DL doesn’t grant an illegal the opportunity to vote.
A national holiday doesn’t allow registered voters to vote at home if they are commercial pilots, military stationed away from home, doctors and nurses that can’t leave a hospital during a 36 hour shift, state dept workers assigned internationally, out of state college students who can’t declare residency, etc.
The idea that people randomly show up to voting precincts and assume the identity of a registered voter has happened how many times? Ever? Can anyone point to a single documented case? Someone risked jail by impersonating a registered voter just to get 1 vote tallied? It’s basically an illogical concern.

When illegals go to get a DL they are given a voter registration form. All they have to do is check a box that they are a citizen and they can register to vote. They are on the honor system and no one checks these. They are put on the rolls and they can vote. Even if they don't vote, inflated rolls can be used for cheating in many ways.
If American citizens can't get to the polls, they should have to request an absentee ballot.
Voting has been sold as a convenience when it should be recognized as a privilege. Security is more important than convenience!
