quote:

“I’m all in favor of the vaccine,” Trump said Thursday. “It’s one of the great achievements, a true miracle, and not only for the United States. We’re saving tens of millions of lives throughout the world. We’re saving entire countries.” Speaking by telephone to Post columnist Michael Goodwin, Trump said he got his first shot before leaving the White House in January, and his second in Florida, where he now lives. Former First Lady Melania Trump also has been vaccinated, and neither had any adverse reactions.

quote:

Not even a bit of arm soreness,” he said. “It’s pretty amazing stuff.” Trump remains understandably proud of Operation Warp Speed, the program he commanded that dramatically reduced the time for vaccine research, development and human trials. No previous vaccine had come to market in fewer than five years, while this one went from start to finish in about nine months. The first doses were shipped to the states in the middle of December.

Fantastic. I don’t think anyone minds being urged. It’s being compelled that there is an issue with.

Do we believe the CDC or not?

Greatest POTUS ever. With that said, thanks but no thanks.

This is the second post that PentagonTiger has made about Trump supporting vaccinations. He's under the mistaken belief that every (or almost every) Trump supporter thinks that Trump is omnipotent and infallible. He thinks it's a gotcha. Weird, but whatever.

So are some on this board going to lash out at him like they did Luke Letlow's wife about a month ago when she encouraged her constituents to do the same?

Awesome! I’m all for people having the choice to do what they believe is best for their health/wellbeing.

I’ve chosen not to get the vaccine.

That last quote is a doozy! You can keep your "vaccine".

He's wrong on this. I truly believe that mRNA vaccine is going to cause the greatest tragedy in human history.

He can get bent on the vaccine push.

Wow... I really wish you would post less. Every thread you are in makes me feel like I wasted that time. You just cannot possibly have any intelligence

With all due respect, Mr. President... No. I'm not afraid of COVID, I don't trust anyone's vaccine, and the word is that it doesn't even work that well.

No thanks. Stop giving legitimacy to COVID. "Urge" people to get back to living normal lives. The vaccines were never going to stop anything, because they'll keep lying about the stats, and keep pushing other mandates on people.

Stop. Giving. COVID. Credence.

Well, he’s in his 70s, overweight and likely doesn’t exercise. He’s high risk by most metrics. Vaccine makes sense.

I know people who are in their 30s, very fit, had Covid already without incident and STILL got both shots. Da fuq?

Trump can suck it. He is the president that ushered in this era of masks and lockdowns. He is the one who listened to Fauci. He is the one who decided to shut the entire fricking country down.

Trump failed us in his final hours.

There is not much he could do. The medical experts were talking about millions dead. He deferred to the states on lockdowns, which was the right play.

I'm glad he is coming out strong like this because I feel if he were still in office, many of the vaccine skeptics would be getting their jab.
