Nike should have known this would be the reaction. I guess they are believing the denials from the NFL that the kneeling boycotts are having an effect.

This is one of those times he should remain silent about a situation.

But like Ron White said, he didn't have the ability.

If I tried to buy a NFL team and they blocked me, I'd find it hard to watch too. Seeing that the anthems were only shown on tv last year, I think that is just overblown.

It’s a losing issue for the left but they insist on keeping it at the forefront and Trump is more than willing to help them dig that hole deeper.

Better quit supporting SEC athletics unless your school isnt a Nike school (10 of them are). Part of every ticket, concession, view, click, donation etc goes to help promote Nike

He doesn't/didn't have to say/do anything. There was a public reaction already and all he had to do was sit back and watch it.

Supporting your school helps promote Nike. If the school does well Nike does well. Pretty simple

You made it sound like the schools were cutting a check to the liberal nike bank account.

Poor guy is so incredibly delusional. I'm actually starting to feel bad for Trump. There are a lot of people in this country who have all their hopes tied to him and it's going to be really sad when it all comes Crashing Down

I'm not saying you're full of crap but you're going to have to provide some evidence that Nike is getting part of the gate money.

I’m good with him rubbing their noses in it for a single tweet, he just needs to leave it at that though.

He needs to switch over to Gab where his posts will be visible by his supporters and he can still have a direct line to them, while simultaneously shaking all the attention his every tweet receives - at least until they start hanging on every one of those too.

Too many small-minded individuals are conflating his tweets for ‘OFFICIAL’ political talking points and not realizing that at the end of the day it’s still just an individual and his twitter account. The unprecedented access to the POTUS is awesome, but if you were to poll Trump supporters on things about him they don’t like most would immediately say his occasional Twitter rants.

He is incapable of telling the truth and it's starting to get really senile on top of that. He needs a lot of sympathy

They aren’t cutting checks but it’s a super lucrative deal for Nike. That logo is everywhere on Saturday’s
