Seems like I remember a south La. guy invented some type of above water netting that captured carp. Worked pretty well.

they are down here in the MS river and in lake Ponchartrain.
A tropical storm a few years ago had a few come over the sea wall in mandeville and get to streets up before getting beached by receding water.
They are in the lake and spread like wildfire.
They're all over southeast Louisiana.

Here come the libs with the "Save the Carp" and "Carp Lives Matter" signs. I personally plan to hang a frick Parks and Wildlife sign out front.
