You should have seen the training on this. It was like a parody of a satire of a parody. Basically, if they have the diagnosis and have begun the transition, they are to meet the standards of the destination gender - unless they can't.

I had hoped that this would backfire on the liberals when folks realized there are drastically different standards for males and females now. This is NOT done for readiness. This is done to allow for arbitrary "sufficient" levels of female soldiers for the social experiment.

Females largely don't belong in uniform. But, if we're going to do that, we should go back to the old WAC/WAVE/WAF era and have them in a segregated service. And they certainly don't belong in combat.

So in short, military= arse whippin, trangender=arse frickin.

Transgender individuals that want to serve have way more courage than someone who dodged the draft multiple times.

To a certain degree, this is true. I've been complimentary of female troops with whom I've served here and in other places. However, we're largely dealing with our last 20 years experience. Mostly, we do the killing and we could have civilians doing a lot of these jobs, too.

But, a soldier is supposed to be a warfighter when the shite hits the fan. Mixed or female-only units always underperform all male units in combat. Period.

I've never understood the different pt standards for males and females. I thought we are equal. The military should have one set of standards. Pass them or move along.

The biggest take out of this is what everyone who is honest knows is that many transgenders will join the military in order for the government to pay for their transition surgeries and many will demand this to take place while still serving and eating up large portions of their time recooperating and not actually participating in "active duty"...

If they truly wish to serve then sign a waiver stating they will not seek government assistance for any transition procedures...
