I understand how it can be frustrating, yes

But Trump just doesn't just attack hyperbole. Trump attacks back over the smallest, most petty things imaginable.

We can't really prove anything about a person's motivations, thoughts, or feelings in any situation, but do anyways.

However, insecurity is a completely internal state, and is often fluid. Narcissism is rigid (personality) has that, but has some observable behaviors as well.

I'll be honest, Trump could very well have a narcisstic personality disorder. Narcissism is actually a common trait with entrepreneurs, and in fact, it may be a positive in regards to success. It's also a common trait in politicians as well.

But like anything else, narcissism can be channeled into a positive (motivation to be successful), with the expected drawbacks.

That comment is stupid. It only makes sense when said to someone who ran for President. Otherwise, that is like saying "thats why i'm eating a cheeseburger and you're not", when the other person ordered a steak, so of course they don't have a cheeseburger.

The Time reporter didn't run for President, so the comment makes no fricking sense.

Edit: Downvote for understanding English.

Narcissism is expected IMO

Petty insecurity isn't

Whoa, the top 2 contrarians going at it for the top spot?

This round goes to buckeye.
I spent 10 years studying psychology. I'm no expert, but I'm not just making this up. However, I am an expert at knowing that while we can reasonably hypothesize the basis of a behavior from research, we can't draw absolute conclusions.

I'm not being a contrarian; I'm just saying that overconfidence and establishing superiority can be a reaction to insecurity, even if the insecurity is only in that moment.

Sure, that's a possibility but it is a very remote possibility.

It's also a possibility that what you call "overconfidence and establishing superiority" is actually justified confidence and superiority which is the more likely possibility.

He is President, isn't he? And, by process of elimination, I am guessing that the reporter is not President.

It's ok for it to be true, but not ok for him to verbalize it?

You mean like Obama attacking Trump over his steaks and wine? I know what you mean.

Meh. he has taken/takes heat for every step he takes while being president, more so than any president I ever remember. Nothing wrong with a little chest puffing.

If this is all anyone can complain about, I'll take that as a really good sign.

1st) You just hate it that you don't have a pussy for a man to grab, and that you have to use your mouth and butt as a substitute.

2nd) That insult doesn't work against non queer men because we know he was referring to consensual sex and not assault. After all the quote was "they will LET you grab them by the pussy" which represents Consensual activity.

I am conservative, and in fairness Obama and Bush took a lot of heat as well. That's the state of politics today.

President Trump does not attack over the smallest, most petty things.

It's not a small, most petty thing to be accused by the presstitutes in the MSM of not having the mental capacity to be POTUS by constantly twisting the meaning of the smallest, most petty thing President Trump says into something absurd.

Besides, a stitch in time saves nine.
