So you’re excited about a bill big pharma loves so that what will happen exactly?

There’s not going to be even dozens of people saved by this. It’s just a windfall for pharma companies.

Aren’t the patients already in danger? They are terminally ill.
Yes, which is what is ironic. They want them to die and not potentially get help. The excuse they use is that they don't want to die faster with unapproved medicine.

But, I also agree with your point for terminal patients. There's absolutely no point in restricting access.
And there are A LOT of smaller companies who are closed out by Big Pharma and the FDA because they may ACTUALLY have a cure. Wouldn't this open doors for them??

You can charge people anything you want for medicine that may not even work. Big pharma’s wet dream.

You can also charge people anything you want if you're the only approved game in town. I don't see how you can think this won't create more competition, which could only lower costs.

Lol. It can benefit people and big pharma. It won’t. But it’s logically possible that it could. Just don’t pretend this is Trump sticking it to the system.

Right to try is shitty legislation. Know who loves right to try? Big pharma.

Sounds like someone hates freedom.

Or maybe he just hates the right to try after wifey made him clean up the mess of her bull after convincing the cuck to "try it"

This is good for freedom in general though, right?

What this bill does is improve patient choice. Who cares if "big pharma" benefits (small and medium pharma will benefit, too) if terminal patients are able to try different options that might help them?

In theory you could. In practice, it works out a little differently.

But when you remove third parties, real informed consent and clinical efficacy, it’s a three-ring circus.

“Bob, I understand you have dick cancer and that you have $300k. We would like to take the $300k and do something no one is sure is going to work. Whaddya day, Bob?”

Another excellent move

Also proving, once again, the Republicans are typically more "pro choice" than our friends on the left

The FDA doesn’t care about this. Not really. Try again.

They have no liability in this game.
